Beginning January 1, 2011, Indiana households, public schools, and small businesses are no longer able to mix unwanted computer monitors, computers, televisions, printers, computer peripherals (such as keyboards and mice), DVD players, video cassette recorders or fax machines with municipal waste that is intended for disposal at a landfill or intended for disposal by burning or incineration. http://www.in.gov/recycle/5741.htm This disposal prohibition can be found in Indiana Code 13-20.5.

How Do I Get Rid Of My Electronic Recycling?

Customers can drop off items at our recycling facility located at 605 Mason St, Elkhart, IN. There is a handling fee for televisions and computer monitors.

Are There Limits To The Amount Of Electronics Customers Can Bring In?
